Tamsin's birthday

Yesterday was Tamsin's 23rd birthday. She wishes to send her thanks to everyone who sent birthday congratulations and wishes eternal damnation to those who didn't. You know which group you're in. As Tamsin loves nothing more than to sit around home, I made her go to the zoo for her birthday. I'm like that. We went out for breakfast to a pancake place we found when we were here last year and loaded up on food for the next month or so, then we headed for the zoo. It was very similar to the other trips we have made to the zoo, although we finally saw the Arctic wolf and the orangutans were very photogenic.

As a final dollop of excitement for the day, Tamsin's first paycheck in 5 months was in the mail when we got home. She is very excited to go shopping, but I have her on an entirely unreasonable repayment plan for the next little while until she's paid back the money I've had to spend on her while she wasn't getting paid so she won't have too much disposable income.
